Pebbly Beach (KI-165) is a relatively isolated pebble (boulder) and sand beach, located 3 km west of Snellings Beach, but surrounded by private farm land. The 130 m long, north facing beach lies at the mouth of a partially cleared, steep, V-shaped valley, with a farm track following the creek to the river mouth. The small beach blocks the creek and consists of a high tide cobble-boulder beach, with a narrow low tide bar and jagged rock reefs and platforms to either side.
