The boat ramp beach (843) is 1.1 km long and faces northwest. The steep boat ramp access is located at the quieter eastern end, while reefs lower waves along much of the beach, resulting in a continuous steep, reflective beach (Fig. 4.140). The point road runs along the top of the beach. There is a second car park above the western boundary bluffs, below which is 160 m long beach 844. It has less reef and receives waves averaging over 1 m, which maintain a narrow bar and surf zone.
