On the northern side of beach 950m is 1.1 km long beach 951, the longest beach in this section. It is a relatively straight, west facing steep sand beach that receives waves averaging about 0.5 m which surge up the beach face. It is backed by steep 50 m high bluffs, requiring a steep climb down to the beach at the southern end. Its neighbour beach 952 is a 150 m long strip of sand at the base of 30 m high cliffs, and is only accessible by boat or around the rocks at low tide from beach 951.
