Cape Wiles forms the southeastern boundary of the way, and is a 130 m high calcarenite capped granite headland. One kilometer west of the cape are two pockets of sand wedged in at the base of 130 m high sheer cliffs (Fig. 4.138). They can be best viewed from the Black Lookout. Beach 830 is 80 m long, whiles its neighbour (831) is 100 m long. Both beaches are fronted by 300 m of rocks and reefs with surf over the reefs, and a permanent rip draining each beach, while the lowered waves result in steep reflective beaches. Six hundred metres west of Black Lookout is another 150 m long slither of sand (832) lying at the base of 100 m high cliffs, and also fronted by 300 wide shallow reefs.
Beach Length: 0.1km
General Hazard Rating: 8/10
