The main Louth Bay beach (739) begins of the south side of the bluffs and runs for 4.5 km down to Warna Point. It faces southeast swinging round to face north in lee of the point. The settlement of Louth Bay overlooks the southern end of the beach and provides access for boat launching. The beach is composed of fine sand with a firm low gradient beach slope, fronted by 50 m wide bar, with seagrass meadows growing 100 m off the shore.
