Beach 963 lies 3 km north of Greenly Beach and just below the access road, with a small car park overlooking the southern end of the 150 m long beach. The sand beach has a surf zone dominated by rocks and reefs, and is drained by a permanent rip. The backing bluffs, rocks and reefs continue north and dominate its neighbours 450 m long beach 964, and 1.9 km long beach 965. The main vehicle track terminates on the bare 40 m high bluffs behind beach 965, with access via a gully to the beach. This beach usually has 2 to 3 beach rips, as well as permanent reef controlled rips. There are however some quieter rock pools in the reefs.
