King Head is a conical 60 m high grassy bluff surrounded by jagged steeply dipping metasedimentary rocks. Between Kings and Newland heads is a straight 7 km section of 100 m high southeast facing cliffs. Tucked in beneath the first 1.5 km of cliffed coast are three small boulder beaches. The first (167) is 300 m long and is backed by a steep V-shaped grassy valley which provides access to the beach. The second (168) is 200 m long and is backed by cliffs and steeper vegetated bluffs with no safe access. The third (169) is a 100 pocket of sand beneath steep bluffs and cliffs with no safe access.
