Rosetta Head is a 100 m high conical granite headland. On its protected northern side is a narrow strip of sand largely fronted by rocks facing north toward West Island 500 m offshore. A gravel rock backs the winding beach (163) and leads out to a small wharf at the eastern end of the beach. The wharf in now mainly used for fishing.

Swimming

These are four low energy relatively safe beaches. The most popular are Victor Harbour and the Inman River mouth beaches, which are both backed by large reserves.

Surfing

None in the bay, except during big seas when wave break at Victor Harbour beach.

Fishing

The Rosetta Head wharf is the most popular shore base spot to fish from, and the Inman River, particularly when the mouth is open.

General

Four beaches set in a low energy bay, with excellent access to all, and the facilities of Victor Harbour right behind.
