The southern shores of the bay extend eastward toward Billy Lights Point, with beach (760) occupying 300 m of the north facing shoreline. This is an irregular low energy sand and cobble beach, fronted by 200 m wide tidal flats. A groyne and double boat ramp are located at the eastern end , with the beach building out against the groyne.
