On the north side of Stamford Hill is Stamford Beach (775) which has a picnic and camping area and a walking track to the crest of the hill. The 800 m long beach faces north and is fronted by 300 wide ridged sand flats, A small headland separates it from beach 776, a similar 900 m long beach, accessible via a vehicle track across the base of Surfleet Point to Spalding Cove.
