Beaches 1158, 1159 and 1160 are three sheltered low energy beaches fronted by sand flats on the northwestern side of the cape. They are backed and bordered by grassy slopes that rise toward the crest of the cape, with the cape road running along the base of the slope just behind the beaches. Beach 1158 is a 200 m long pocket of sand fronted by 100 m wide sandflats, its neighbour (1159) is a 600 m long more crenulate bedrock controlled strip of sand and sandflats, while 1160 is a 200 m long pocket of sand bordered by low grassy headlands, with sandflats widening to 400 m.
