Five hundred metres south of the cove are the two southern beaches, both of which can only be accessed via private farmland. Beach 692 is a 100 m long pocket of southeast facing sand, bordered by sloping granite rocks. On the southern side of the rocks is 400 m long beach 693, which has a continuous attached bar and terminates in lees of a granite reef which protrudes 100 m seaward. A farm track leads to the point above the reef.
