On the south side of the cape are two slightly longer beach, both backed by narrow foredunes and farmland almost to the beach. Beach 678 is 600 m long, with some rocks towards each end, and a continuous sand beach and bar in between. During higher waves a few rips form along the beach. A vehicle track follows the usually dry creek to a small car park at the southern end.
