On the south side of Port Neill is a series of five small rock bound beaches. They occupy 1.3 km of shore and are backed for the most part by the Port Neill golf course, then by a grassy foreshore reserve accessed via a gravel road that terminates 500 m south of the golf course. All the beaches face east into the gulf, and are afforded varying degrees of protection from the boundary rocks and headlands, as well as two small islets lying 100 to 200 m offshore. Beach 664 is a 100 m long pocket of sand backed by a large car park. This is a relatively safe beach and popular for both swimming and rock fishing.
