On the south side of the rocks beach 715 curves round for 1.3 km as a continuous sand beach, backed by 100 m wide vegetated low dunes, and fronted by a continuous 50 m wide sand terrace. Toward the southern end is a beachfront camping area with basic facilities. Rock reefs extending 150 m offshore from Red Cliffs, form the southern boundary, with beach 716 located in lee of these rocks, as a curving 250 m long high tide sand beach, fronted by the irregular rock flats.
