Beaches 1342 and 1343 are two 100 m long pockets of sand located immediately east of Clare Bay. Beach 1342 is backed and bordered by 20 m high bluffs and fronted by offshore reefs, while beach 1343 lies on the eastern headland of the bay, and has surf breaking across 150 m wide reefs all the way to the beach.
