On the western side of the foreland is a curving 650 m long reflective beach (1339), backed by a foredune and then sand draped bluffs. There is a steep sandy 4WD track down the dunes. Prominent reefs and surf lie 100 to 300 m off the beach, while Eyre Bluff extends 400 m seaward to form the western boundary.
