Beach 1337 extends from the end of the 4WD track for 12.2 km up to the easternmost of the Eyre Bluffs. It faces southwest exposing it to persistent high waves, which maintain a continuous inner bar which expands to a double bar systems to the west. Both bars are dominated by large rips, spaced at approximately 500 m intervals on the inner bar. Stable 1.5 km wide dunes back the first 7 km with active dunes along the western section of the beach. Salt lakes also back the central section of the dunes. Most of the dunes and lakes are part of the Chadinga Conservation Reserve.
