On the western side of Eyre Bluff is a straight 500 m long cliff, then a narrow curving 450 m long beach (1340) located at the base of steep 30 m high bluffs. Reefs extend a few hundred meters seaward of the beach, and while waves are low at the beach, a large rip drains the inner surf. It’s neighbour (beach 1341) is a similar 600 m long narrow curving beach, back by bluffs which decrease in height to the west, where a 4WD tracks reaches the top of the beach. A climb down this end of the beach provides the only access to both beaches. Offshore reefs front much of the beach, with a rip running out though a gap in the reefs off the eastern half of the beach.
Beach Length: 0.45km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
