West of the beach is 2 km of highly irregular 20 m high bluffs (containing a excellent left break in the second bay), then the coast turns to face southwest along the Cabbots to Cheetima beaches section. Cabbots Beach (1374) is crenulate 300 m long beach, with some beachrock outcrops. There is a left hand break into the beach, and a strong rip at the western end.
