Beach 1431 is a curving 300 m long beach bounded by sand forelands extending out to beachrock reefs. There is a 100 m wide gap in the reef which permits a high shorebreak at the beach, and a permanent rip to exit though the gap. Its western neighbour (beach 1432) is 300 m long and almost identical, with beachrock also outcropping along the shoreline.
