The Inman River forms the western boundary of Victor Harbour township, and the narrow and at time closed mouth forms the boundary between Victor Harbour and the river mouth beach, which extends for 600 m south to a low sandy foreland. This low energy beach (161) is fronted by seagrass beds and backed by a wide reserve in the west, with the eastern half a low sandy spit. Behind the spit is a large caravan park.

Swimming

These are four low energy relatively safe beaches. The most popular are Victor Harbour and the Inman River mouth beaches, which are both backed by large reserves.

Surfing

None in the bay, except during big seas when wave break at Victor Harbour beach.

Fishing

The Rosetta Head wharf is the most popular shore base spot to fish from, and the Inman River, particularly when the mouth is open.

General

Four beaches set in a low energy bay, with excellent access to all, and the facilities of Victor Harbour right behind.
