Morgan Beach (188) is an 800 m long west facing white sand beach, nestled below 50 m high bluffs, up which a sand dune has almost succeeded in reaching the top. There is a gravel road from Cape Jervis to the bluff overlooking the southern end of the beach (Fig. 4.42). Rock reefs front the southern third of the beach, with a sandy seabed off the centre and northern end. Waves average about 0.5 m and the beach is usually steep and barless.
