Tiparra Rocks is the first of a series of more prominent bedrock reefs, that extend seaward of the 10 to 20 m high dune capped bluffs. Between the rocks and The Gap the dunes are backed by a rough vehicle track, which provides access to The Bamboos beaches.
Tiparra Rocks beach (491) faces due west, is 1.8 km in length, and fronted by a mixture of sand and rock flats, while 300 to 400 m wide dunes back the bluffs. A car park and camping area is located behind the northern end of the beach. The beach terminates at The Bamboos reefs.
Beach Length: 1.8km
