North of Barkers Rocks is a 22 km west facing section of coast dominated by the 15 km long Bushs Beach, with several smaller beaches to either side, including the beach and small settlement of Port Rickaby. All the beaches receive low wind waves and are dominated by a combination of shallow intertidal rocks and sand flats, with continuous seagrass meadows paralleling the shore. Barkers Rocks beach (469) is a 160 m long sand beach located in a gap in the rock flats, with elevated beachrock bordering the back and either end of the beach. There is a gravel road right to the beach and a large car park to service the boat launching off the beach.
