At Point Deburg the coast turns and trends toward the northeast. The point itself consists of granite points and coves, some of which are relatively calm and suitable for diving or snorkeling. The beaches begin 1 km east of the point. Beach 439 is a 200 m long sand beach, bordered by sloping granite rocks, and backed by vegetated calcarenite bluffs. The beach usually has a narrow attached bar and low waves with a few rocks and reefs off the beach.
