On the eastern side of the foreland the beach continues as Leven Beach (455) for 4.7 km to Burners Beach, located below grassy 30 m high bluffs and finally a steeply dipping metasedimentary rock platforms. There is good access at Burners Beach where there is also a basic beachfront camping area, but no facilities. The sand flats 300 m wide at the foreland narrow to 100 m at Burners Beach as it becomes more exposed to westerly wind waves, with even low surf and some rips occurring during strong wind and wave conditions.
