The two Pine Point beaches (267 and 268) total 2 km in length, joined at the protruding sandy foreland. The backing sand flats are covered by the shacks, with a narrow foreshore reserve between the shacks and the beach. The beach is narrow, moderately steep and composed of shelly sand, with rock and sand flats existing 400 m into the gulf. The southern end of Pine Point beach narrow to the bluffs.
