Beach 460 extends from the Point Souttar beaches south and then west to Fish Point, a distance of 7.3 km. The entire shoreline is dominated by the low bedrock bluffs and 100 m wide rock platform, with the continuous sandy high tide beach wedged in between the two. The Brutus road and a few shack settlements back the beach. The only water access is at the very eastern end just before Fish Point where there is a beachfront car park and a small cove located in a gap in the rocks that has two pontoons for swimming.
