Port Victoria is one of the larger settlement on the western shore of the peninsula and provides a jetty, boat ramp, caravan park and hotel, as well as limited facilities in the small beachfront town. To either side of the main jetty beach are several small very low energy beaches and rock-sand flats, with the northern most beach grading into the tidal flats in lee of Point Pearce. Point Gawler is a 15 m high calcarenite bluff that forms the southern boundary of Port Victoria. There is a boat ramp out on the point providing access to deeper water, while inside the point 200 m wide sand and rock flats front the low energy 300 m long curving beach (475). The Port Victoria golf course runs south of the point.
