Beach 290 and 291 are two longer accessible beaches both housing a few shacks. Beach 290 is 420 m long and fronted by continuous 50 m wide intertidal rock flats then a 50 to 100 wide strip of sand flats. There is a vehicle track to the southern bluff, with a walking track down to the two shacks. Beach 291 is 1.3 km long and runs from the southern side of the last prominent bluff, where four shacks are located, down to the end of the bluffs. The shack owners have built three rock groynes across the sand and cobble beach, which is fronted by a mixture or rock and sand flats averaging about 150 m in width.
