North of the Stansbury jetty is an essentially straight 7 km long east facing section of bluffed shoreline, fronted by continuous 50 to 100 m wide sand and rock flats, with nine narrow beaches wedged in at the base of the bluffs. All of the beaches face east into the open Oyster Bay and receive low waves and are often calm, and all are backed by farmland, with no public access to the shore. Beaches 302 and 303 are two 100 m long pockets of sand backed and bordered by 20 m high bluffs. A small valley provides foot access to beach 303.
