On the southern side of Oyster Point is the 1.5 km southern beach (313), which is backed by a 50 m wide reserve and road, while 300 m wide partly vegetated sand flats front the beach. As a consequence this beach is only suitable for swimming at high tide, and the beach itself is usually covered in seagrass debris.
