On the southern side of Bayley Point are two pockets of sand (beaches T 55 and 56). Beach T 55 is a 100 m long strip of sand wedged into three gaps in the granite, and awash during high waves. A permanent central rip drains the exposed beach. The walking track reaches the point at the northern end of the beach.
