Beach T 61 commences at the southern end of the low rocks and consists of an initially high tide sand beach fronted by 100 m wide rock flats, the beach widening along the southern 100 m to a rock- and reef-fronted low tide terrace. The rocks continue to the south backed by steep cobble-boulder beaches.
