Policemans Point is a rock-tied sandy point that forms the southern boundary to Ansons Bay inlet. The South Ansons Bay Road terminates in lee of the point, where there remains an unutilised police reserve. Beach T 58 curves for 500 m south of the point to a sandy foreland formed in lee of inshore reefs (Fig. 4.11). The reflective beach curves between the low rocky reef areas with only a central section free of rocks. It is backed by generally vegetated transgressive dunes and deflated surfaces that extend 200 m inland then a 10 ha wetland.
