Beach T 59 commences on the southern side of the foreland and trends to the south as a slightly crenulate beach to the lee of inshore reefs for 1.7 km to a 500 m long section of low rocky shore. The northern half of the beach is relatively free of rocks and reflective, while the southern half receives slightly higher waves that maintain a low tide terrace, with numerous rocks scattered along the beach and surf. The beach is backed by a generally vegetated 50-100 m wide foredune, then cleared farmland. A number of creeks including Yacca Creek converge on a small usually blocked lagoon behind the northern section of beach.
