Denison Beach commences on the southern side of the rocks and trends to the south in three sections (T 138-140) totalling 9.2 km. The northern section (T 138) is a 2.5 km long east-facing beach bordered by the northern rocks and the usually blocked mouth of Denison Rivulet. The 1-1.5 m high waves and rips continue along the beach with usually 8-10 rips flowing across the bar. A narrow foredune, the highway then sloping farmland back the beach, with a small car park and beach access at the rivulet in the centre of the beach.
