Beach T 137 commences at the river mouth and trends to the south for 1.2 km becoming increasingly dominated by rock reefs at the shore and in the inner surf, the rocks known as The Porches. It finally terminates at a small rock bluff. The rocks combined with the moderate waves maintain a number of permanent rips and generally hazardous beach conditions. The northern half of the beach is backed by a collection of holiday shacks set amongst a wooded field, with a narrow vegetated foredune and farmland backing the remainder.
Beach Length: 1.2km
General Hazard Rating: 7/11
