Swimcart Beach (T 87) commences at the boundary rocks and creek mouth and trends to the southeast for 1.2 km to Round Hill Point, a 17 m high dune-capped granite point, that extends 300 m seaward. The relatively straight beach receives waves averaging about 1 m, which maintain a low tide terrace with a few rips forming during periods of higher waves. The elongate 500 m long Swimcart Lagoon forms the northern boundary, with a picnic area by the lagoon. The remainder of the beach is backed by a 500 m wide barrier containing four low foredunes and swampy swales, with a vehicle track running the length of the beach to a southern beachfront car park. The boundary of the reserve narrows to 100 m in lee of the point with a few houses located adjacent to the boundary.
Beach Length: 0.001km
