Beach T 139 continues south of the rivulet for another 2.4 km to the mouth of Old Mines Lagoon. This is a similar beach with 8-10 rips and a backing foredune and farmland. There is a collection of tree shaded holiday shacks at Toxteth Park immediately south of the rivulet. The highway crosses the rivulet 100 m west of the beach, with a car park and beach access 1.5 km south of the rivulet.
