Beach T 47 is a curving 1.3 km long northeast-facing reflective to low tide terrace beach located between Picnic Point and Picnic Corner in lee of Eddystone Point. The point and the beach’s northerly orientation protect it from southerly waves, with fishing boats sometimes anchored in the corner and seaweed accumulating on the beach. It backed by a vegetated foredune, which increases in height into the southern corner, and a patchy wetland is shared with beach T 51. It is accessible along the Picnic Rocks and Eddystone Point roads with a few fishing shacks located on the southern headland overlooking the corner.
