Beach T 125 is located at the southern end of the beach, past a small rocky point fringed by a cobble beach. The cobble beach continues around the rear of the 100 m long curving beach, with a sandy low tide terrace fronting the cobbles and at times linking with the main beach. The Cray Drop-In holiday village is located on the slope and crest of the eastern Ironhouse Point. It has cleared some of the cobbles to construct a small boat ramp, groyne and launching area on the eastern side of the bay.
