Beach T 104 is a 200 m long pocket of sand bordered by sloping rocky points and backed by vegetated slopes rising to 40 m. A 50 m wide rocky point separates it from beach T 105, a 250 m long beach formed at the mouth of a small valley, with Onion Creek breaking out against the northern boundary rocks. A 50-100 m wide foredune backs the remainder of the beach with a narrow meandering lagoon behind. The vehicle track terminates on the northern side of the creek mouth and a walking track commences at the southern end of the beach. Both beaches receive waves averaging up to 1.5 m which break across the boundary rocks and maintain a 50-100 m wide surf zone usually drained by rips against the northern and southern rocks and at times a central rip against the dividing point. read more
