The northern section of the beach (T 62) trends to the south for 2.8 km between the southern rocks of beach T 61 to the first low rocky 50 m long point. This is the most exposed of the beaches along this section of shore with waves averaging over 1 m. These maintain a low tide terrace to transverse bar and rip during periods of higher waves, with rips spaced every 200 m along the shore. The beach is backed by a destabilised foredune that becomes increasingly blown out along the northern half of the beach, with blowouts and deflation hollows extending up to 300 m inland. Broadwater Creek reaches the centre of the beach and breaks out during heavy rain.
Beach Length: 2.8km
