The northern end of the beach (T 79) extends for 450 m between the boundary rocks and the usually closed mouth of Big Lagoon. The beach faces southeast and receives waves averaging over 1 m which break amongst a series of rocks along the northern half of the beach, with the southern half free of rocks and usually containing a low tide terrace, with rips forming during periods of higher waves. A vegetated bluff backs the beach, with a row of several blufftop houses, then The Gardens Road.
Beach Length: 0.45km
