Ocean Vista beach (T 1082) occupies the centre of the next small embayment, with reef-tied sandy forelands to either end. The 400 m long sandy beach has a 50 m wide upper sandy intertidal zone, grading into mid to low tide rock flats and reefs. A shallow reef lies off the eastern foreland while a narrow sandy channel runs down its western side. The narrow reserve and highway back the beach, with a car park in lee of the eastern foreland, and the small Ocean Vista community across the highway.
