Beach T 1098 commences against a seawall built to protect the highway and trends to the southeast for 300 m past the small protruding mouth of Heybridge Rivulet, to a 50 m long outcrop of rocks and boulders. The crenulate beach has a narrow sandy high tide swash zone, fronted by 100 m wide intertidal rock flats, grading into deeper rocky seafloor, with linear patches of sand amongst the ridged rocks. Beach T 1099 is located on the eastern side of the boundary outcrop and curves to the southeast for 80 m to the next 100 m long protruding outcrop. Shallow rock reefs border each end, with the narrow high tide sandy beach fronted by the continuous inter- and sub-tidal rocky seafloor.
