Beach T 1122 begins at the northern boundary to the river mouth and trends to the east for 1.5 km, terminating at a gap in the rock flats cut by Norfolk Creek. The crenulate beach consists of a steep narrow high tide cobble beach fronted by 100 m wide intertidal cobble flats. It is backed by a 200 m wide cleared, but undeveloped recreation reserve, then a road and a few houses, with the highway passing 200 m south of the eastern end of the beach.
