The narrow cobble beach curves for 150 m along the eastern side of the pond, with a small stream draining out at its western end, while the 1 ha pond has a shallow sandy bed, which is exposed as sand flats at low tide. A low tree-lined backshore and private house back the pond, with no direct public access.
